Starting Situation

A well-established hair salon was taken over by the young professional Kaltrina, marking a fresh new chapter while maintaining the salon’s trusted reputation. The name remained unchanged, but the goal was to create a new, modern brand identity that reflected both professionalism and innovation. A key challenge was designing a logo that appealed equally to a unisex clientele.

Approach

The client wanted a sleek black-and-white aesthetic, so I focused on creating a timeless yet contemporary design. I developed a distinct icon that not only complemented the logo but could also stand on its own. This gave the brand more flexibility for different applications, from signage to packaging and digital platforms. The result was an elegant and modern look that balanced sophistication with a fresh energy.

Result

The new logo successfully communicates the salon’s new beginning while preserving its established identity. The refined black-and-white design, along with the versatile icon, ensures a cohesive and stylish brand presence across all touchpoints, appealing to both male and female clients.
